How it happens

nothing happens

It just happened

I could laugh and

see this ocean true

as it comes back for me and for you

I would cradle

this newfound cable and

bring it to the shore

hoping that someday

somewhere

it will know no more

and the answer will forever be in front of me

ever asking what of me as I hypnotize back out into the open shore
